Songeun Choi was born in 1997 in South Korea. As a soloist and chamber musician, she has explored a wide range of repertoire, with a special interest in exploring the music of French composers including Ravel and Debussy. As a member of the Odora Trio, she enjoys exploring and performing works by British composers including Ireland and Sumsion. She has performed in many concerts including Steinway Hall, Fazioli Concert Hall, Milton Court, Wigmore Hall and King’s Place. Songeun is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and The Purcell School. In 2021, having been supported by the Alfred Knight Award, she completed her Master of Arts Degree studying with Diana Ketler at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating with Distinction and was awarded DipRAM. Previously, she studied at The Purcell School with Carole Presland and William Fong, with whom she studied with at RAM supported by a scholarship, graduating with First Class Honours for her BMus degree in 2020.
